I am a Christian, a nurse, a mother, and the proud grandmother of six. My family has called Anderson home for 12 generations, and this community is deeply woven into who I am. My faith, conservative values, and servant’s heart guide every decision I make. I am committed to listening with care, leading with integrity, and always putting our students, families, and community first.

Strong Schools, Smaller Classes & Academic Excellence
I support reducing class sizes so teachers can give students more individual attention and every child has the opportunity to succeed. I am committed to preserving strong community schools, encouraging student excellence, and providing a rigorous education that includes traditional math instruction, phonics-based reading, quality books, and proven classical teaching methods.
Supporting and Recognizing Great Teachers
I believe excellent schools begin with excellent teachers. I support giving educators the resources, respect, classroom support, and authority they need to teach effectively. I also believe we should recognize and reward teachers who demonstrate excellence, inspire their students, and consistently go above and beyond in the classroom.
Focused Classrooms & Responsible Technology
I believe technology should be used carefully and only when it truly improves learning. I support paper and books over unnecessary screen time, age-appropriate tablet use, and reasonable limits on artificial intelligence in the classroom. I also support clear expectations and consistent student discipline so teachers can teach and students can learn in safe, orderly, and focused classrooms.

Future Readiness
I support protecting the traditional values that are important to Anderson families, including the appropriate inclusion of the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer in our schools. I believe students should receive a strong education in American history and understand the principles and sacrifices that shaped our nation. I also support career and workforce programs that prepare students for employment, technical education, college, responsible citizenship, and life after graduation.
